Police have arrested a man who allegedly tried to sell two 7-foot cow costumes designed for fast-food chain Chick-fil-A online, the Associated Press reports.
Robert Michael Trytten, 43, allegedly posted the black-and-white getups on Craigslist on Oct. 30, asking for $350 a piece, according to Redlands, Calif. police. An undercover officer met up with the seller to buy the costumes “for Halloween,” and arrested him. Trytten is now being held on a $275,000 bail for “suspicion of possession of the stolen property.
During her time working with underserved communities in southwest Philadelphia, Maureen George encountered many unconventional asthma treatments, including the use of homemade botanical teas or tonics.
“You find there’s a rich history of using these home remedies to manage asthma, in part because accessing traditional medicine has been difficult or resulted in disappointing interactions,” says George, a professor of nursing at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.
George has published research on asthma self-management and the use of complementary or alternative medicine.
