When the Portuguese landed on the south coast of the island in 1526, they called it Papua, after a Malay word that described the fuzzy hair of the inhabitants. When the Spanish claimed the north coast 19 years later, they called it New Guinea, because they thought the natives resembled those on the Guinea Coast of Africa. Since the two territories became jointly administered by Australia in 1949, they have gone by the hybrid mouthful of Papua New Guinea.

Ronda Rousey is remaking the image of nerds everywherewith her love of Pokemon and World of Warcraft and you can add Star Wars to her list of obsessions, as the UFC star went all out for her costume at The Force Awakens opening-night showing.
Rousey was decked out as a stormtrooper and was joined by friends in very impressive Darth Maul and Boba Fett costumes to take in the hotly anticipated film on Thursday night.

In the study, Dr. Benjamin Levine, professor of exercise science at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and his colleagues studied 53 healthy people ages 45 to 64.
