The biopic, inspired by Priscilla’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me, shows what it was like to be married to one of the most significant cultural figures of the 20th century. “We know so much about Elvis,” Coppola says in a behind-the-scenes featurette for the film. “And it was really important to me to show the story through Priscilla’s experiences.
