New S'mores Girl Scout Cookies Are Here to Mark 100 Years

To celebrate a century of Girl Scout selling cookies, a new duo of flavors is now ready to make its way to homes across America, these ones derived from the old-school mystique of the campfire. The s’mores cookies (two kinds!) are both mixes of graham cracker, marshmallow, and chocolate, supplying Girl Scout’s signature satisfying crunch and sugar rush. They taste great, too: one type, coated in chocolate, offers a decidedly sweet, chocolate-forward treat, while the other, with its cracker exterior, is reminiscent of an animal cracker with a double layer of filling.

The announcement, marking the Scrabble bible’s first big update in nearly a decade, comes just days before 500 of the world’s most eminent Scrabblers go head-to-head at the national championships in Buffalo, N.

But when I told my youngest stepson, Trinity, that I was writing about this topic, he said that by the time he got to high school, “I knew my parents wouldn’t just throw cash at me while I was a bum all summer.

The weather caused major gridlock across the city, with more than 700 kilometres (430 miles) of traffic jams recorded at 7:30 pm local time (1830 GMT) on Tuesday, local information service Sytadin said. Paris bus services were cancelled on Tuesday evening, according to the RATP transport authority, and school transport would not run on Wednesday in several areas. Meteo France says the snowfall will intensify overnight Wednesday, with temperatures expected to fall as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit), leaving five to 10 centimetres (two to four inches) in most areas on alert.
